Habitat pour Haïti is a Dutch foundation, giving direct help to the poorest people in Haïti. The board of the foundation works completely on a voluntary basis without any payments. Therefore, all gifts go directly to the people and projects in Haïti.

The Republic of Haïti is one of the poorest countries in the Caribbean, approximately two hours flying time south of Miami, Florida. In the capital Port-au-Prince, many thousands of people live in a gigantic slum area. Every day they struggle to survive. Habitat pour Haïti helps inhabitants of these slums.
